I have filled this blog with a number of articles on math related to the binary classification problem. Binary classification is any test or decision making process which returns a yes/no result. It is highly relevant in manufacturing ("Does this part meet specifications?") and medicine ("Does this person have this disease?"). My interest in binary classification began in the context of STD testing and conversations with doctor friends of mine led me down something of a rabbit hole as I tried to answer all the questions we had on the topic. This is a list of the articles which resulted from those discussions.
